Dear Friends,

Laughter is the music of the soul

Everything is a decision. Happiness, anger, sadness and other emotions are a state of mind. Emotions are like water. They move in and out like the tide. We can learn to witness them, as we would watch a film.

The rebel mystic, Osho, has a laughing meditation. Years ago we practiced this. In the beginning we had to force our laughter. It was so unnatural to simply laugh. After some time laughter began to bubble up from the depths of somewhere inside our bellies. It seemed to channel its way up, and then like a fountain gushed out from the heart. Wow! This was so liberating. We felt like kids again.

When was the last time your sides ached from a good belly laugh? We are not saying that we must always laugh. Only that it should be an integral part of daily life like our three square meals.

Laughter lightens the load. It uplifts how we feel. It helps to connect us to our heart, which is the source of our inner strength.

May you laugh deep and fully and shine like the bright star that you are!

Blessings,

Bruce and Colette
