Postnatal Yoga with Infant

Gentle yoga poses are taught to help you to strengthen, energize, and tone your whole body while deepening your sense of well being. We focus on specific areas such as neck and shoulders, abdominals, lower back, and pelvis.
Come to any of our postnatal classes when you feel ready. Our classes are gentle, safe and individualized to meet your needs.

Mother’s Groove - a postnatal class
Come with your baby and find your groove as a mother in this supportive fun class. During the class Colette guides you in creative movement techniques with your child to enhance your baby's development both physically and cognitively.
Colette also teaches yoga and breath work to help you regain your strength and vitality, tone
abdominal and pelvic muscles and gain a sense of peace and calm.
Once a month Lorraine Bayes of Tickle Tune Typhoon brings Baby Sing-Along to the first half of Mother's Groove. She shares active songs and lullabies with creative movement for your little one.

Creative Dance 2-4 year olds
Experience fun and play with your child as you explore dance, creative
movement and active songs together. Activities are taught to enhance your
child’s development both physically and cognitively and can be done at home.

Mom and Tot Yoga with creative play 
Bring your child to this weekly class and continue your yoga practice. Colette incorporates creative movement, play and songs with you and your child. This is a fun way to blend exercise for you and connection with your
child while enhancing his or her development.

Mom and Tot Bellydancing
Learn the basics of Belly Dance with your tot playing by your side. Your child will be free to play or shimmy and shake with you to the beating of the drum. This class is open to anyone who has ever wanted to learn this ancient dance.

Mother's Drumming Circle

Learn to listen and connect to the heart through the rhythm of the beating drum. The mind quiets allowing for spontaneous self-expression, while fostering support, nurturing camaraderie, self-care and love. Drumming helps us to tap into our potential inspiring health and maximizing wellbeing.
Join Connie Wanlin-Iskra, a registered psychologist and mother, in this fun and playful class as you embrace your inner rhythm, and most importantly the healing power of the heartbeat.

Mother Nature Walk
Nature and its selfless way of giving helps us to experience through our senses stillness, peace and purity. Join Colette on a walk through some of Seattle's magnificent parks. Together we will be nurtured by nature's quiet inspiration which will assist us in nourishing our families.

The Art of Baby Massage
Colette Crawford, RN, BSN
Learning the ancient art of baby massage is easy and one of the most rewarding and loving activities you can share with your baby. Being touched and caressed is as important as feeding your baby.
You will practice several massage techniques along with simple baby yoga exercises and playful songs that are fun for you and your baby, and help to develop your infant’s brain and nervous system, improve visual acuity and stimulate the senses. Regular massage can help your child sleep better, enhance bonding and relieve gas and symptoms of colic.

Mothers Tea
Our staff is offering a Mother's Tea! This will be a time for mom's to visit with each other, share stories and questions of birth, parenting, challenges and joys of motherhood, etc. A place to relax and enjoy a hot cup of tea with other moms and babies.
