Baby Wearing
Slings and Other Carriers
Brynn Stonehouse
Baby wearing can make your life easier and it is good for your baby!
Many babies want to be held all the time. It’s normal, especially with young babies. Carrying your baby gives you the mobility you need to get things done around the house, care for older children or shop while helping to comfort your baby. It can also reduce crying and colic, help some babies breastfeed better, enhance visual and auditory alertness, and promote cognitive and speech development.
Learn how to use several kinds of carriers and positions for the newborn to the toddler and discreet nursing positions.
If you have a sling or carrier be sure to bring it.
